DinBox Router 3G: Industrial router with RS-485/232 interface and VPN functionality
The DinBox 3G Router is a WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ router providing secured VPN data communication functionality. Please check a typical substation application.

The router can be used in M2M applications, including intelligent transport, industrial automation, telemetry, POS, but also as communication device for SCADA applications. The product supports VPN client and server (IPsec) and also local and remote firmware upgrades, along with import and export of configuration files. Other features are e.g. an embedded RTC, NTP and even a multiple DDNS provider. The DinBox 3G Router is a WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ router / cellular terminal device providing data communication functionality through a public WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ network.
The router has an embedded high-powered industrial 32-bits CPU and a real time operating system and both a RS232 or RS485/RS422 serial communication port and Ethernet port, allowing the transparent connection of existing serial and Ethernet devices to a cellular network.
