A major cybersecurity milestone: DB RTU portfolio achieves TÜV certification!

A fantastic achievement for everyone involved and another important step in building secure, resilient European technology for the future.

This achievement confirms our continued commitment to developing secure, reliable and future-ready technology for critical infrastructure.

The certification covers the DB RTU Q7, DB RTU SL+, DB RTU OSM (planned for Q1 2027), and the DEMAS Management System.

Through close collaboration, Bausch Datacom and its sister company RiTTec have successfully demonstrated compliance with the relevant IEC 62443-1 and IEC 62443-2 requirements for their joint product portfolio. IEC 62443 is an internationally recognized cybersecurity framework for industrial automation and control systems.

For our customers and partners, this certification provides additional assurance that cybersecurity is embedded in the way our solutions are developed and managed. It also supports alignment with the cybersecurity requirements and principles of the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the NIS2 Directive.

And this milestone is part of an even bigger picture.

Together with the ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications held by Ritter Technologie and Bausch Datacom, the TÜV certification further strengthens the Ritter Group’s “All-European” approach to secure technology development and production.
