Get acquainted with Bausch Datacom, view or company presentation. The Belgian company Bausch Datacom teams up with her German sister companies Ritter Starkstromtechnik and Ritter Technologie at the Enlit fair in Frankfurt proposing hardware and software for grid communication and monitoring. Whereas Bausch Datacom features its new RTU DinBox RTU Q7, Rittec will present the DeMaS Management tool to control the infrastructure in the field. Ritter Starkstromtechnik is specialist in substation automation and switching gear for MV fields.

DINBOX RTU & DeMas MANAGEMENT TOOL

The new productline DinBox RTU Q7 and DeMaS tool is especially conceived to facilitate all kind applications offering a very powerful Remote Terminal Unit with Docker & IPV6 based firmware to equip large infrastructures of remote terminal units in MV (10-36kV) / LV ((230V) transformer stations. Monitoring the Grid requires a flexible system that can last years and this starts with EDGE platforms (Remote Terminal Units) in the field and a management tool ready to be upgraded when new evolutions occur. Our Management System and firmware of the devices in the field are conceived to use the most modern IT software available at each moment. The DinBox RTU Q7 integrates SCADA protocolling such as IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850 and diverse other protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, MQTT and others. 

The DeMas software is a powerful central management tool to organize your infrastructure of Edge Platforms (Remote Terminal Units) in the field. It offers not only the organization and update of the existing infrastructure but is capable to add any application which is evolving from the new paths in energy control and business models (ownership and trading of energy). Firmware upgrade, remote parametrization, automatic commissioning, health status made easy!

INNOVATIVE GREEN ENERGY APPLICATIONS

Next to the substation automation of Ritter Starkstromtechnik, Bausch Datacom and Ritter Technology have recently joined forces with different stakeholders such as Solar Panel and EV market leaders to develop technology that can facilitate a system of capitalization and trading of energy for private consumers and companies based on green energy. Crucial in this system is importing tokenization by blockchain / crypto anchoring and techniques such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Open-Source protocolling. Companies such as Sunified and Riddle & Code are partnering up with Bausch Datacom to introduce these technologies in the DeMas / Q7 system. Bausch Datacom is also member of the 2Tokens organization to promote tokenization in energy structures.
