New Product release: DinBox 4G Router
The DinBox 4G Router is the successor of the 3G version of our VPN router proposing LTE Cat. 4 and LTE Cat.1 communication (LTE Cat. M1 is on roadmap) . The router comes with industrial features such as metal housing, 3m antenna Cable, DINrail clip and AC and DC Power supplies.

The router can be used in M2M applications, including intelligent transport, industrial automation, telemetry, POS, but also as communication device for SCADA applications.
The product supports VPN client and server (IPsec) and also local and remote firmware upgrades, along with import and export of configuration files.
Other features are e.g. an embedded RTC, NTP and even a multiple DDNS provider. The DinBox 4G Router is a LTE Cat.4, LTE Cat.1 and LTE Cat.M1 (roadmap) router / cellular terminal device providing data communication functionality. The router has an embedded high-powered industrial 32-bits CPU and a real time operating system and both a RS232 or RS485/RS422 serial communication port and Ethernet port, allowing the transparent connection of existing serial and Ethernet devices to a cellular network. The router comes with industrial features such as metal housing, 3m antenna Cable, DINrail clip and AC and DC Power supplies.

Belgian Electricity Network Distributor Sibelga, responsible for the City of Brussels, upgraded their contract with Bausch Datacom towards the 4G version of the router. The router is used as TCP/IP gateway to the RTU's for the secundary substations in their grid.
