DeMas management tool for DinBox RTU M4, InduBox GSM M4 & DinBox RTU Q7: Cost-effective system for control & monitoring of MV/LV substations (10-36kV to 230V)

DeMas management tool for DinBox RTU M4, InduBox GSM M4 & DinBox RTU Q7: Cost-effective system for control & monitoring of MV/LV substations (10-36kV to 230V)
The DeMas backoffice & M4/Q7 platform offers a complete system that connects substations to either IEC 60870-5-104 SCADA or MQTT Backoffices. The system offers a all-in solution for communication and management.

The main mission of the M4/Q7 RTU platform is to maintain a LTE Cat. 1 / M1 / GPRS / NB IoT communication between an IEC-60870-5-104 Master environment (SCADA) and/or a DSO backoffice through MQTT. The DinBox RTU's in the field are managed by the DeMas (Data Management Software) system offering mass remote firmware updates, remote configuration, health status, automatic commissiong and communication infrastructure data. The DeMas backoffice tool is deviced to be able to interface with the customers backoffice systems through 'software container techniques' making it easy to offer tailor made solutions.

Through the Modbus protocol, the DB RTU M4 / IB GSM M4 can connect all kind of Power Quality or other sensor devices and/or communicate alarming events to the SCADA Master(s) - up to 6 or more-  through a mapping technique in the RTU. It is a powerful tool in upgrading all kinds of devices to an IEC 60870-5-104 environment. The DinBox RTU M4 / InduBox GSM M4 offers LTE & NB IoT communication with GPRS fallback (Sierra Wireless module), IEC 60870-5-104 slave functions, MQTT Client, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, 8 Digital inputs, 2 digital outputs and  2 analog 12 bit inputs. The device is secured by TLS.

The DinBox RTU Q7 is a much more powerful device than the M4 range. It is capable to offer routing services for large webservers and can run much more protocols. Next to the SCADA IEC 60870-5-104 it can handle NON-GOOSE IEC 61850 for IED's. An extension board for Digital contacts and or sensors can be offered as option. The inputs are galvanically isolated and the device can be powered by a wide range AC power supply or a DC version. The device has a slot for Memory flash cards and a Last Gasp possibility of Supercap backup. The device is secured by VPN IPsec and TLS. All in all, a pretty complete solution for MV/LV substation automation and communication.
