DMSW Backoffice & DinBox RTU M4: cost-effective systems for control & monitoring of MV/LV substations (10-36kV to 230V)
The DMSW backoffice & DinBox RTU M4 offer a system that connects substations to either IEC 60870-5-104 SCADA or MQTT Backoffices. The system aims at offering an all-in solution for communication and management.

The main mission of the DinBox RTU SL is to maintain a GPRS/LTE Cat. 1 / M1 / NB IoT communication between an IEC-60870-5-104 Master environment (SCADA) and/or a DSO backoffice through MQTT. The DinBox RTU's in the field are managed by the DMSW (Data Management Software) system offering mass remote firmware updates, remote configuration, health status, automatic commissiong, communication infrastructure data etc.

The DMSW backoffice tool is deviced to be able to interface with the customers backoffice systems through 'software container techniques' making it easy to offer tailor made solutions.

Through the Modbus protocol, the RTU M4 can connect all kind of Power Quality or other sensor devices and/or communicate alarming events to the SCADA Master through a mapping technique in the RTU. It is a powerful tool in upgrading all kinds of devices to an IEC 60870-5-104 environment. The DinBox RTU M4 offers GPRS LTE NB IoT communication (Sierra Wireless module), IEC 60870-5-104 slave functions, MQTT Client, Modbus TCP, Modbus TCP, 8 Digital inputs, 2 digital outputs and 2 analog 12 bit inputs. The inputs are galvanically isolated and the device can be powered by a wide range AC power supply or a DC version. Lastly, the device has a slot for Memory flash cards and a Last Gasp possibility of Supercap backup. All in all, a pretty complete solution for basic MV/LV substation automation and communication.
